Everyone keeps asking how far up Mt Everest Peter is.  They are generally a little disappointed, though amazed, when told he is still on the trek in.  WELL NO LONGER, Peter and his team have made it to Everest Base Camp! and now they are turning around.  What?!

They moved into camp, did some training, Peter worked with the Sherpas on their technical skills as well.  Now they are heading back to Lobuche, a nearby peak of not small stature, for an acclimatization climb.  Then back up to EBC.  So they are there, sort of, not really.  The sheer magnitude of the entire endeavor is what makes this so confusing, and this post certainly doesn’t help.
