Though that title doesn’t go very well with the theme of the class, we are proud to have finished teaching our first Leave No Trace course. Most of our students work in remote areas, so we thought a course on reducing impact in the outdoors and in general would be an excellent fit. It turns out we were right – over 30 students attended the course. This may even be the first LNT course offered in the region. We think sharing these ethics with the students will lead to lasting changes, and especially the guides. They are the stewards of some of the world’s most unique systems, and they have an international audience. Not going to lie, we are pretty pleased with ourselves.
