This year, we would like to offer courses at no cost to villagers north of Mt Meru at the Mkuru Training Camp . The camp is run by Istituto Oikos, who approach conservation and development by promoting responsible management of natural resources and sustainable lifestyles. We would like to raise US$1,250 to travel to the camp and spend 4 days teaching the local Wameru, Warusha, and Masaai. Any excess funds will be used towards wilderness medicine scholarships for exceptional candidates in Tanzania.
