NEPAL EARTHQUAKE UPDATE

You may have a heard there was another large earthquake on the other side of Kathmandu this morning. We were speechless when we found out. Even with the hundreds of aftershocks, things were seemingly falling into place, then another big release down the fault line – 7.3 magnitude.

The epicenter was to the east of Kathmandu this time, and though it affected the city, not as so severely as the 7.8 magnitude quake on 25 April. Unfortunately, plenty of towns and villages suffered further damage. It’s hard not to feel helpless, and the flashback of fear for those experiencing these events must have been terrifying.

There has been some positive news: we were pleased to learn that our first shipment of supplies from the US arrived today! Thanks to each of you who made this possible!
