We take training very seriously, not only that which we provide, but also when continuing to refine our own skills. This year, Shikuku attended a Wilderness Emergency Medical Training course at SOLO Wilderness Medicine in New Hampshire. He did so well, not only was he certified with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, the Director of the program awarded him an International EMT certification, developed at the request of the United Nations. Shikuku is the first African to have received this certification!
